How can you tell if a girl is crazy?

1. She hasn't learnt from any of the mistakes she's made in the past with you.

2. She's cheated many, many times on ex-boyfriends, and pretends she never has.

3. You have never had a decent, intellectual conversation with her AT ALL.

4. She dresses like a whore to take the attention away from how boring she really is.

5. The ratio of male friends to female friends is > 31234525:1. For very good reason too. Girls just don't want to be around her. They don't want to be branded the same way she is. Normal girls just don't want to put up with her shit.

6. She is very eager to take a guy shopping..

7. She makes fake profiles on myspace or forums to compliment herself.

8. She's done hard drugs. oh yes... sure shot sign she could turn crazy on your ass.

9. She likes hanging around people she doesn't really like coz she deosn't have many friends anyway...

10. Don't believe her when she says "he's just a friend...."

Royal Easter Show - Sydney

I was not too fond of the Easter Show after the last time I attended, but I went this year and I actually enjoyed it. There was so much to see and take in, from beautiful flower arrangements to fruit and vegie art displays, to the most precious animals, to corn cobs on sticks =)

I didn't get any special showbags, just a Wizz Fizz one. I was interested in the Betty Boop one but $25 for cute stuff I already have? haha, come off it. It was too bad I didn't get to see any of the horse shows, as it was absolutely pouring. This resulted in a beyond EPIC headache. However I was VERY impressed with there being a chemist on the showgrounds so I could fix myself.

Naming your kid

What do you get when you have Shannyn Sossamon and a dictionary? A kid named AUDIO SCIENCE that's what!! You also have Jason Lee who named his kid PILOT INSPEKTOR.. That's right.. the K gives it all the more edge. To me it sounds like they've already found their breakdancing aliases. UNIQUE, yeah my ass.

Michael Jackson named his son PRINCE MICHAEL JACKSON II (BLANKET). Now I can understand wanting to keep your name in the family... but what happened to the goold ole fashion JR tag at the end of the name. e.g. Michael Jackson Jr, instead of having Prince there like he is some sort of royalty! and I think Blanket is just the icing on the cake haha. I guess we shouldn't be surprised, I recall when I heard about Jackson dangling his son from a window.

What is it with people these days giving their kids the most outlandish names? Do they not expect their child to blend into society normally? FFS Give the kid a good chance at having a decent childhood without having to go through inevitable teasing!

Another thing I've noticed is the trend in really young mothers calling their sons TYREL or TYRONE? I was surprised like 5 girls I heard of at my old school and other schools calling their sons one of those names.

I guess every name in the playground will be picked at. I remember I used to cry to my mum and dad about being called JUNE because all the kids always teased me about it not being the month June. They used to tell me, "June is a very nice name!" but boy did I hate it. I probably only learned to accept my name about 3 years ago believe that or not.

Real vs. Fake Bodies

Tonight I've decided to discuss Real vs. Fake bodies. It always irritates me when I hear or read about celebrities who go under the knife to 'enhance' their face or body, when they were perfectly fine to begin with. I hate that girls of the out there look up to them. Who is to blame? The media? Magazine fashion editors who choose girls with double Z busts or girls who look like sacks of bones? I want more real girls in print and on TV!

Jennifer Grey, most famous for 'that nose' and her roles in Dirty Dancing and Ferris Bueller's Day Off, made the biggest mistake of her life when she had a botched nose job done on her most prominent feature which also brought her great fame. She had a second corrective procedure that drastically altered her face to what you see now. She still looks great, except her career is GONE! I really miss seeing the old Jewish looking Jennifer Grey on my TV screen. I guess she ain't as bad as the next one..

Jocelyn Wildenstein is just OTT man, OTT! She has apparently spent over a cool $4 million on her plastic surgery endeavours. She was so beautiful before! The socialite is also called the cat woman for obvious reasons. Sadly it was her husband (who was fond of cats) cheated on her with some model, which prompted Jocelyn to get surgery to look more like a cat. poor thing..

Dawn Yang, a star Singaporean blogger, basically got surgery on her whole face, apparently to look more 'Eurasian'. She assumed numerous identities on an online forum complimenting herself, responding to her own posts AND commenting on her own pics how beautiful she was. Well she could do that and people could just think she was an idiot and laugh at her, but she started making nasty comments about other girls who were prettier than her (and had plastic surgery too) and slept with two bigshots in the industry. If you google her you can find her many lies exposed. According to Dawn, sometimes she is Dutch-Thai, sometimes Dutch-Jap. Talk about being ashamed to be Chinese! Absolutely cringeworthy!

Tara Reid, last but definitely not least, doesn't need an introduction at all, and I have no further comment as the last picture says it all =\

Check out http://www.celebrityplasticpics.com/ for more celebrity before and after surgery shots.

What would convince you to get plastic surgery? Having the money and being vain I s'pose! haha... nah, personally I would get it if I was in a freak accident that disfigured me. Also, looking or touching those disfiguring scars can bring back memories of a traumatic incident.

Recession tendencies

So for less than $10 I've invested in seeds to start my own vegetable patch. Having always wanted to help my parents out in whatever way possible (especially after moving back home), I think this is an exceptional way to help save money in this economic crisis. With so many vegies to choose from, I settled on the above after considering the chart on the back of the packets that outline the optimal times to grow them in Australia.

I've also discovered an awesome function on my Hewlett-Packard laptop (which I've had for almost a year now.. lol). With the Lightscribe function on most recent HP laptops, you can laser etch any image onto the front of the CD/DVD. Whether for business clients, gifts for family and friends, these are suited to almost anything! Here I have laser etched in the album 'Game Theory' by The Roots. Beautiful isn't it?! Apparently you can get them in multiple colours too..

What's in your bag?

People always ask me why the fuck I carry such a large bag around all the time. Not only do I have abnormal spending habits and lug some of my purchases in my carry bag, I have quite a few items which are in my bag by default. I love feeling comfortable, knowing that if I need absolutely anything I can turn to my handbag for that specific need.

Which leads on into the discussion about large shoulder bags. This is the bag I carry most of my stuff in. Yes I stole it from my sister (that's what sisters are for =p). The brand is Mambo Goddess and I have received many compliments for this bag (if my sister ever sees this - YES I do mention that it is yours). I would like to get another one, as it is starting to fall apart. Exactly the same style and size would suit me fine.

I seriously don't care what you fashionistas think of my unweldy bags/backpack.. if you know what's good for you, you need at least one for convenience sake! I love large bags, not only for their volume capacity for my uni books but for the many interesting designs that they come in.

What do we have here?

A blog for girls (the everyday girl!!!) that covers inside gossip, beauty, fashion trends, product recommendations, diy projects, hobbies, entertainment or the lives of ordinary people. Generally it will be a blog that doesn't mean anyone harm, however I do expect to discuss other important issues which I see relevant.

A bit about me:
I am a 23 year old uni student in final year of B. Eng/B. Sci degrees. I thought this blog might be a good way for me to maintain some sort of creative outlet, as I predict that I will be staying home more often than not, studying and completing the remainder of my course.

Although my course may be number crunching, it hasn't stopped me from being interested in other fields such as fashion and art, entertainment and art and crafts. As my time is slowly being swallowed up by other commitments, I feel that I am missing out on the usual things I enjoy. However, simply talking about these things gets me excited.. just ask anyone! =)

Anyway who knows what kind of success this blog will have? Perhaps I will totally forget about it in a few month's time? lol I hope the response is good! So subscribe to this blog space if you know what's good for ya! =)
